Wekiva Volunteer Training

2025 WVT Registration – February 7th-9th, 2025

2024 Boys Week 1 Volunteers

FFGC Wekiva Youth Camp has been located in Wekiwa Springs State Park in Apopka, Florida since 1974. Camp is offered for six weeks each summer with our main programs being offered to 3rd-6th graders and special programs for 1st-2nd, 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. Our campers spend a week living in cabins and learning about the importance of conservation and protection of our environment. Adult Volunteers and Environmental Educators serve as Program Leaders and role models to our campers.

Volunteers are house in air-conditioned cabins with indoor plumbing. The Clinic is staffed by an onsite, Registered Nurse daily. Our Camp Director supervises daily camper activities and manages our Counselor Staff, most of whom are former Wekiva campers.

Wekiva Volunteer Training is an excellent opportunity to learn more about Camp Wekiva and to become acquainted with how Camp works. The first 36 registrants will have the opportunity to be housed in Volunteer cabins. After those spaces are filled, additional registrants will be housed in camper cabins with a nearby bathhouse.
