Packing Lists:
At Wekiva Youth Camp, there’s no need for new clothing. We recommend packing comfortable, functional attire and well-broken-in shoes suitable for outdoor activities. To assist in your preparation, we’ve provided recommended packing lists tailored to each program:
- Camper Recommended Packing Checklist
- 7th Grade Program Recommended Packing Checklist
- Critter Camper Recommended Packing Checklist
- Adult Volunteer or WLT Recommended Packing List
Please pay particular attention to our Dress Code to ensure all items meet our camp standards. Additionally, label all clothing and personal items with a waterproof marker to prevent loss.
Important Luggage Information:
- Storage Space: Suitcases and luggage are stored under the beds in the cabins.
- Clearance: The space from the floor to the bottom of the bed is 12½ inches.
- Recommendation: Please ensure your luggage fits within this space to facilitate easy storage.
Camper Agreements:
As part of registration, there are two agreements that must be acknowledged by both the Camper and their Parent or Guardian:
Camper Agreement – Outlines behavior expectations and our functional dress code.
Photo Agreement – Grants permission for camp photos and videos to be shared in accordance with privacy guidelines.
We encourage you to review both documents prior to registering and again before camp begins, to ensure your camper understands what’s expected and feels confident about the experience.
Camper Health Form:
Camper Health History must be completed online by a parent or guardian as part of the registration process. You will need to provide either:
The date of your camper’s most recent Tetanus booster, or
A Florida Department of Health Certificate of Immunization Exemption
Additionally, a Camper Medical Recommendation Form or a school/sports physical signed by Licensed Medical Personnel is required. The form must be dated within 24 months of your camper’s week at Wekiva Youth Camp.
You can access the Camper Medical Recommendation Form during online registration or download it below. These requirements align with American Camp Association (ACA) standards.
All required camper health documentation must be submitted to the Camp Registrar by May 15.
