This is the heart of Wekiva Youth Camp: a full week of sleeping in a cabin with new friends, exploring Wekiwa Springs State Park, and learning to love the real Florida. Every day is built around three sessions — Nature Study, Crafts and Swimming — with songs, campfires, skits and evening programs filling in everything around them.

Three Sessions Every Day

Campers hiking through the pine flatwoods
Nature StudyHikes, critters and photography in the park, led by nature volunteers who love sharing what lives here.
Campers at the craft tables
CraftsCreative projects made with craft volunteers, many of them inspired by nature, to take home at the end of the week.
Campers swimming in the camp pool
SwimmingIn the camp pool and at the Springs, always with lifeguards on duty and the Waterfront Director in charge.

Cabin Life

Campers and counselors holding the Telecheekee cabin banner

Campers live in one of 13 named cabins, arranged in two circles under the pines. Each cabin is home to 8 campers and 2 counselors, so every child has grown-ups who know them by name all week.

Many of our counselors were Wekiva campers themselves. The Infirmary is staffed 24/7 by our medical staff and nurses during every session.
